Plastic card design and artwork services

For our plastic cards to be printed, metal printing plates have to be produced. These metal plates contain the information that is to be printed on to your cards. Before they can be made, artwork needs to be produced on a computer. There are two options for doing this:

Full design service
We can supply you with a full design service including advice, ideas and layout. Just supply us with the details you wish to print, and any logos required, and we will do the rest. A paper proof will be supplied for your approval. This can be by post, fax or for added convenience and speed by email, prior to printing.

Supply your own design
You can supply your own artwork and reduce the cost of your order. This can be by email or on a computer disk (Floppy, CD or Zip). All artwork should be colour separated in black and white with an indication of the colour scheme. Fonts should be supplied along with the artwork.

We can accept designs in many file formats but, to avoid incurring any setup charges, artwork should be created in one of the following software packages:

Corel Draw! (PC Only) Adobe Illustrator (PC and Mac) Quark Xpress (PC and Mac)

Full colour artwork requires a bleed of at least 3mm on all sides. Spot colour artwork should come in at least 3mm from the edge of the card. All fonts should be converted to outlines and logos that are not in a vector format should be at least 300 dpi.
